You've just finished your junior year. Why would you think about booking senior pictures already this summer?

If you live in the midwest, specifically eastern Iowa or western Illinois, I can think of many reasons. Let's explore 5 of them.

More Time

Especially if you are an athlete or participate in other activities, you will have more time during the summer. You don't have to worry about planning around school, after school practices, and homework.  

Better Choice of Dates

As we only have a limited number of Saturday sessions available, booking a senior photo session during the summer allows you to have your pictures done nearly any day, not just a Saturday. And it doesn't leave you needing to skip school to have it done during the week. 

Longer Days

Anyone that has lived in the Midwest for any length of time knows just how early it can get dark during the fall and winter in Iowa! Choosing a summer photo session means longer days. That gives us more daylight to work with, so whether you want to start your session at 10am or 4pm, it's up to you. There is still plenty of time to hit a variety of locations in Clinton, Fulton or Morrison and anywhere in between.

Summer Sun

At Pix Along The Way the bright sun isn't something that we are afraid of. Because we have both studio lights and portable strobes, we are able to create unique pictures for you in any type of lighting. Honestly though, the bright sun is one of our favorites, as it gives the image an edgy look with the harsh shadows.
