When you are selecting your wardrobe, should you choose solids or patterns? Well, honestly there is nothing wrong with either of them. These photos will be hanging on your wall, so it is your choice. Solids can be more timeless and put the focus of the photo on you, not your choice of clothing. Patterns can be fun and trendy, helping you show off your personality.

How to Know What Colors to Choose

We all have our favorite colors that we love to wear, but how do we know what ones make us look our best? Is there a way to tell what colors actually look best on us? Definitely! First you need to know what your skin tone is. If I am speaking a foreign language to you, keep reading. I've got a few clues to help you determine your skin tone and what color clothing looks best for each skin tone. Yes, guys, this is for you, too!

Choose Clothes That Will Tell Your Story

The last thing to remember as you are choosing what to wear for your session is to select things that will help you tell your story. Do you dance? Bring in those leotards! Do you play football or volleyball? Grab those uniforms! Know where you are going to college? Bring along some spirit wear.
