10 Ways to Personalize Your Senior Session

Would you rather have your senior images be the same as everyone else or unique to you?

If you chose the second option, then keep reading for some ideas. There is only one you, and your images should reflect that! They should tell your story! Here are 10 ways you can personalize your senior session.

1 - Have them taken at a place you and your friends like to hang out.

Maybe you like to spend your time at a local coffee shop or play basketball at the neighborhood park. Wherever it might be, let's go for a drive around Clinton, Morrison, or Dixon and head to your favorite hang out! We have been to some unique locations throughout the years and have even photographed some senior pictures in an Illinois parking lot. Because where else do midwesterners hang out but in a parking lot?

2 - Have some photos taken with your car.

It doesn't matter if it is the newest and shiniest car in Fulton. It is your car! In fact, maybe you have a Jeep and would rather have a photo of you kicking up some mud. Let's do it!

3 - Bring your awards.

Maybe you have won numerous awards for placing in gymnastics competitions, speech events, or wrestling tournaments to name a few. Bring those ribbons and trophies and let's get creative!

4 - Have a photo with your pet.

Do you have a dog, cat, horse, cow? Bring them to your senior session! We welcome your animals in the studio. Well, maybe if you have a horse or a cow, we will come your way! We have done it before. We do live in the Midwest after all, and having a senior session with a horse or a cow is not unheard of in Clinton, Morrison, or Goose Lake. But seriously, don't leave your four-legged friends out of your senior pictures. They won't be around forever.

5 - Bring your favorite teddy bear or toy from when you were little.

6 - Get a photo with your favorite snack, candy, or drink.

It might be out of the ordinary, but who says all of your photos have to be serious and traditional?

7 - Have some photos done at your home.

This could be indoors, outdoors, or both. What a way to remember your childhood home! (And if you have a horse or a cow, this would be the perfect time to get them in a photo as well!)

8 - Let's go to your school gym or football field.

Whether you are in track, volleyball, marching band, or cheerleading, these are places you spend your time, so let's head here for some pictures. Clinton High School, as well as all of the surrounding schools, have been extremely helpful in allowing us to photograph senior sessions in their gym and on the football field.

9 - Bring your first pair of ballet shoes.

10 - Have some in your weight room or locker room.

These are the type of things that we will go over during a consultation and through questionnaires we will send to both you and your parents once you book your session date.
